Dentists in Schaumburg, IL

The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience.

Daniel N. Uditsky, D.D.S.

General Dentistry

Dr. Uditsky was born in Chicago. He attended Loyola University and then went on to the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry and received his DDS degree in 1969. Following graduation he served as a member of the faculty at his alma mater in the Department of Oral Diagnosis and Occlusion.

Dr. Dan, as many of his patients and staff members call him, developed his passion for dentistry at an early age. Often he would spend time observing his father who practiced dentistry for 37 years. Dr. Dan had the privilege of working with his late father for 4 years following his graduation from dental school. Dr. Uditsky and his dad established his current practice in Schaumburg in August of 1970. Many of his patients are second and third generation. You might say that he is taking care of the grandchildren of some of his patients from his first year in practice.

Dr. Uditsky is a continuous student and believes in being on the cutting edge of his profession, another trait he learned from his father.  In 1981, he was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (http://www.agd.org). This fellowship recognizes a commitment to continuing education that far exceeds the annual requirements for maintaining one's license to practice. The Academy of General Dentistry was founded in Chicago in 1951 by a small group of dentists, including Dr. Uditsky's father.

For over 30 years Dr. Uditsky has been a volunteer evaluator for Clinicians Report (http://www.cliniciansreport.org). He is one of a select group of 400 dentists worldwide who has participated in numerous research projects designed to evaluate many of the products and techniques currently used in dentistry. This has allowed him to stay on the cutting edge of his profession.

Dr. Uditsky believes in giving back to the community and is an annual participant in the Special Olympic Special Smiles program. He is part of a team of dentists, hygienists and assistants that do dental screening exams for the participants at the games which are held on the south east side of Chicago

Dr Uditsky has been active in organized dentistry for over 40 years. He recently completed a 6 year commitment on the administrative committee of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, (http://www.ao.org) serving as the International President in 2009. He has also served the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry Alumni Association and the Chicago Dental Society in various capacities. He has been honored by his alma mater with the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the UIC All Campus Distinguished Alumnus Award. Dr. Uditsky holds Fellowships in the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Uditsky looks forward to welcoming you to his dental family.
